18 November 2025 – Local defence forces claimed that a minimum of 100 soldiers belonging to the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) were killed in a series of clashes occurring in the areas of Kalay, Gangaw, Falam and Tedim in recent days.
Joint operations involving various local defence groups targeted SSPC troops in the regions between Kalay and Gangaw townships, Falam and Webula towns, and Tedim and Khaikam towns. The SSPC has reportedly intensified its offensive with aerial bombardments and troop and weapon reinforcements.
SSPC, formerly known as State Administration Council (SAC), intensified its attacks in these areas, using aerial bombardments and supplies of weapons and troop reinforcements.
Reports indicate that the Chin National Defence Force (CNDF), a member of the Chin Brotherhood Alliance, and the Chin National Army (CNA), the armed wing under the Chinland Government, have conducted joint military actions against junta ground forces in Chin State in recent weeks.
In a news release issued today, the Chinland Ministry of Defence under the Chinland Government, operating with allied revolutionary groups, highlighted the casualties of the SSPC military personnel included senior officers with the ranks of Major and Captain, and seizures of weapons and ammunition despite the SSPC’s heavy reliance on air support and drones for offensive actions.
In Chin State, fighting has escalated as an SSPC military column advanced from Kalay town in Sagaing Region toward the mountainous areas. Multiple, frequent airstrikes have been reported in Kalay, Gangaw, and Saw townships. – Reporting by Daniel
