Meanwhile, troops from Light Infantry Battalion (368) based in Kyaukhtu reportedly left the base using two vehicles and arrived in Pansan village.
In addition, approximately 30 junta troops per village have been deployed in Minkyi Mingyi, Lay, and Myo Pauk villages, according to local reports.
Local sources suggested that the widespread deployment across villages may be intended as a precautionary measure to secure landing conditions for aircraft operations in the Kyaukhtu area.
Residents have been urged to remain highly cautious and vigilant due to ongoing risks of ground operations, artillery fire, and airstrikes. – Reporting by Ben
