19 June 2026 – State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes on areas east of Mindat town, Chin State today.
The attack took place between approximately 4:33 pm and 5:30 pm when a Y-12 bomber aircraft operating from Tada-U Air Base carried out 11 bombing runs, dropping a total of 26 bombs, including both two-bomb and three-bomb clusters.
Additionally, the attacks occurred between approximately 7:30 am and 8:06 am this morning. Local sources reported that two jet fighters from Naypyidaw’s Aela Air Base and two jet fighters from Tada-U Air Base conducted eight bombing runs, dropping a total of 16 bombs, with two bombs released during each strike.
In total, SSPC aircraft conducted 19 bombing runs and dropped 42 bombs on areas near Mindat town on 19 June alone.
The strikes targeted locations on the eastern side of Mindat town, an area that has experienced repeated aerial attacks in recent days. Information regarding casualties and damage was not immediately available.
