In Pictures: Global Zomi Alliance held Meeting at ZYA’s Office

22 July 2011: Members of the Global Zomi Alliance (GZA) in Burma held a meeting, supposedly a follow-up to the April’s Confecene in Singapore this year, at the office of Zomi Youth Association (ZYA) in Kalay Myo, Sagaing Division last Saturday.

The meeting led by Bishop Felix Lian Khen Thang was claimed to have had a review on the decisions made by GZA in Singapore and discussions on various issues regarding the future activities of the newly formed organisation.

ZYA, established in 2005, hosted and facilitated the Kalay’s meeting.

In a three-day Zomi Summit hosted by Zomi Innkuan in Singapore, the Global Zomi Alliance was formed with key leaders from Burma, UK and US including Bishop Felix Lian Khen Thang, Rev. Dr. Do Suan Mung, Rev. Dr. Simon Pau Khan En, Rev. Dr. Gin Khan Khual and Rev. Dr. Chin Do Kham.
