Photos of Chin State Day Celebrated inside Chin State
21 February 2011: Chin people inside Chin State, Burma were forced to celebrate their national day as ‘Chin State Day’ by the military authorities while a banner of ‘Chin National Day’ is freely put up in other countries.
Outside Chin State in Burma, a celebration of ‘Chin National Day’ is organised in a small-scaled gathering by Chin University students as well as other political parties even though an official permission submitted to the relevant authorities is not reportedly authorised in almost all cities and towns in the country.
