LAWNGTLAI, 28 April 2026 – Mr. C. Ngunliancung, the MLA for Lawngtlai West and MDC for Lawngtlai Vengpi, has presented a cash award to Ms. Rachel Biak Tha Par in recognition of her historic achievement as the top scorer in the 2026 Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination.
Ms. Rachel, a member of the Lai tribe and daughter of Salai Chan Uk, secured the top position by achieving an exceptional score of 480 out of 500 marks.
