Body of drowned Chin man found in Australian lagoon
05 March 2014: The missing body of Salai Van Nei Luai who drowned while swimming on Monday has been found in a lagoon near Melbourne, Australia.
The search and rescue team found his body about 2:15pm yesterday, 16 hours after the accident had happened.
According to The Age, a police spokeswoman said that Luai ‘got into difficulties and disappeared under the surface of the water’ when he decided to swim around 5pm while fishing with his two Chin friends in the lagoon in Wonga Park.
A funeral service for Salai Van Nei Luai is likely to be held in Mount Gambier in South Australia, where his relatives live, according to the Chinland Today Media.#
