19 June 2026 – State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) military jet fighters carried out a series of airstrikes on an area east of Mindat town, Chin State yesterday.
The attacks took place at approximately 7:30 am, 7:35 am, 7:38 am, 7:44 am, 7:50 am, 7:54 am, 8:00 am, and 8:06 am local time.
Local sources reported that two jet fighters from Naypyidaw’s Aela Air Base and two jet fighters from Tada-U Air Base participated in the operation. The aircraft conducted eight bombing runs, dropping a total of 16 bombs, with two bombs released during each strike.
The strikes targeted a location on the eastern side of Mindat town, an area that has experienced repeated aerial attacks in recent days.
