4 May 2026 – AIF Myanmar released footage showing a series of FPV (First Person View) suicide drone strikes targeting the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) military positions in Falam township, Chin State, amid ongoing efforts by SSPC forces to retake resistance-held areas.

According to AIF Myanmar, the strikes were conducted over one week against advancing SSPC military columns attempting to reoccupy liberated territories in Chin State.

The released video, described as only a partial record of the operations, shows attacks on SSPC military bases, supply vehicles, and troops positioned in or near civilian structures.

The group stated that the operations were carried out in coordination with Chin Revolutionary Forces, with logistical support from the Chin National Defense Force (CNDF).

It reported that hundreds of FPV suicide drones, alongside other advanced technologies, were deployed to strike strategic targets, causing casualties among junta forces.

AIF Myanmar said the footage was released to mark International Workers’ Day, dedicating the reported gains to those who lost their lives in the Chin resistance movement and to the broader struggle against SSPC military rule.

Fighting in Chin State has intensified in recent months, with repeated SSPC military offensives aimed at reclaiming resistance-controlled areas, while local defence forces continue coordinated counteroffensives, contributing to an increasingly volatile security situation. – Reporting by Ben
