25 December 2025 — The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) carried out an airstrike on Mindat town, Chin State, on Christmas Day, Thursday evening.
The airstrike occurred at around 5:20 pm, when military aircraft dropped bombs on a residential area of Mindat town. CDF–Mindat reported that several civilian houses were damaged in the attack.
No civilian casualties were reported at the time of writing.
Mindat town, currently under the control of CDF–Mindat, has been repeatedly targeted by military air attacks, resulting in damage to civilian homes and infrastructure.
CDF–Mindat and allied forces captured Mindat township on 22 December 2024, and have since been administering local governance and providing public services in the area. – Reporting by Ben
