20 November 2025 – The Myanmar military conducted a major aerial resupply operation this morning, dropping large quantities of weapons and ammunition over villages controlled by Pyusawhti (Pro-SSPC militia) in northern Gangaw township, Magway Region.

The operation occurred between 7:35 am and 8:35 am, when a Y-12 military transport aircraft from Magway Air Base circled above Hanthawaddy and Khin Yan villages, and released multiple supply bundles attached to parachutes.

Local residents said the aircraft flew low over the area for nearly an hour while releasing the packages. Most of the bundles contained weapons and ammunition, with only a small number carrying other supplies.

The exact number of packages has not been independently confirmed, but residents described the volume as significant. “Most of the bundles were weapons-related, and the quantity dropped today was quite large,” a local source told Yaw Alinn Tann.

In recent weeks, military activity has escalated in the township where the military recently executed its second weapons air-drop in three days. This latest operation, following a similar delivery on 18 November, targeted villages known to be strongholds of the Pyusawhti, a non-uniformed local militia supporting the State Peace and Security Commission (SSPC).

Communities and resistance networks across Gangaw, Htilin, and Saw townships have urged civilians to remain vigilant as aerial operations increase across the Yaw region. – Reporting by Benjamin
