8 October 2025  – Indiscriminate airstrikes launched at approximately 7 pm today by the SAC military junta have reportedly killed at least four civilians and injured over ten others in two villages in Mindat township, Chin State.

Sources confirm that two SAC jet fighters, reportedly from the Tada-U Airbase in the Sagaing region near Mandalay, targeted the compound of a Roman Catholic church.

Details regarding the full extent of damage and casualties remain limited due to communication restrictions in the area, though local sources have confirmed civilian fatalities and injuries.

In a separate but seemingly simultaneous attack, another jet fighter, believed to have flown from Nay Pyi Taw airbase, dropped bombs in the Kyaukhtu areas.

On 4 October, SAC’s military airstrikes seriously injured three civilians and damaged homes in Mindat town.

Updated news in the morning on 9 October:

The night airstrikes by the SAC  attacked a boarding school in Htin Chaung village, killing four students—two females and two males—and injuring 12 others, all believed to be students. Both the Roman Catholic Church and the boarding school buildings were severely damaged.

In a separate incident around the same time, another attack hit a public school in Vawmm’tu village, damaging the buildings but causing no casualties.#
