GCCF to organize leadership training in Hakha

03 September 2013: The Global Chin Christian Fellowship (GCCF) is planning to hold a leadership training in Hakha, Chin State in late October 2013.

It said about 100 Chin church leaders would be invited to the event, regardless of denomination.

Pastor Indiana Cungcin, Executive Director, said: “We are in the process of inviting relevant leaders from various denominations across Chin State as well as the country.”

He said leaders of civil society organizations and women groups will also be invited, stressing the importance of equal participation from women in the upcoming training.

Materials and lectures on the training are to be provided and taught by experts on leadership skills and management from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Thailand.

The October training is a follow-up to an event held inside the country in February this year.

GCCF was formed at its first conference in Malaysia in November 2010 following the Chin Christian Leaders’ Consultation held in Thailand in February 2010. #
