A ‘Bike Ride For Burma’ Event In Commemoration of Burma’s 8888 Uprising

London, UK: A coalition of London-based Burmese students and exiled activists jointly organised a ‘Bike Ride For Burma’ event yesterday in London for the first time in commemoration of the student-led 88 pro-democracy uprising. More than 50 Burmese and British cyclists participated in the event to show solidarity and raise awareness that Burma has not been forgotten.
