18 July 2026 — Myanmar junta’s fighter jet carried out two airstrikes near Mindat township in Chin State on the evening of 18 July, while junta ground forces continued moving through the area.
Local sources reported that a fighter jet, believed to have taken off from Naypyitaw (Aela) Air Base, conducted bombing runs at approximately 6:51 pm and 6:57 pm, dropping four bombs in two strikes on a location near Mindat town.

Information regarding casualties or damage was not immediately available.
Separately, local sources said that some troops from a 200-member junta column that departed Mi El village earlier on 18 July had reached Gyi village by the evening.
