2 July 2026 – The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) military has begun a four-week “Capacity Enhancement Training Course” for ward and village administrators in Hakha Township, Chin State.
The program, which kicked off on 1 July 2026, at the Hakha Township Government Offices Complex, is designed to improve the administrative capacity of local officials.
The training focuses on familiarizing participants with the duties, laws, and standard procedures of the General Administration Department.
The opening ceremony featured remarks from local leadership, including District Administrator Aung Myint Soe and Township Administrator Zaw Myo Aung. The course is scheduled to run through July 28, 2026. – Reporting by Daniel
