10 November 2025 — At least seven soldiers of Myanmar military junta were confirmed dead and over 20 injured following armed clashes occurring near Taingen village last Saturday.

The clashes intensified between troops of the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) and local defence groups in the Siyin area of Tedim township as junta’s troops advanced along the Tedim-Kalay road and entered Taingen village.

Local sources confirmed that the bodies of 7 soldiers from the SSPC military were found after that incident, and that some military supplies were also seized.

At least two members of the PDF-Zoland gave their lives in the confrontation taking place on a hill above Taingen around 9pm.

Currently, the SAC column that advanced from Tedim town has entered and stationed troops inside Taingen village. Meanwhile, the column ascending from Kalay town is reportedly still located in Mualpi village. – Reporting by Daniel
