4 November 2025 – Myanmar’s military troops are reportedly preparing to enter Webula village in Falam township, Chin State, as they advance along the Kalay–Gangaw road in southern Kalay township, Sagaing Region.

The column, which entered Mualzawl village yesterday, is aiming to secure the vital route connecting Kalay town and Nat Chaung village to Chin State. Sources indicate that junta’s forces are strategically positioning themselves to control key transport routes in the region.

The junta initiated a significant reinforcement of troops in Kalay town in mid-October, deploying additional soldiers and supplies via military aircraft. Since then, coordinated offensives have escalated along the Kalay–Tedim, Kalay–Tamu, and Kalay–Gangaw roads, as forces attempt to regain control from resistance groups.

On 31 October, SAC troops entered Hakalay village in Sagaing Region, where homes were reportedly set ablaze, displacing numerous residents.

Ongoing clashes have forced over 30,000 civilians from 36 villages in Sagaing Region to seek refuge in nearby forests and mountains.
