New album by Chin female singer to be released in Burma
01 March 2013: Chin female singer Ms Van Dawt Cin, aka Moe Moe, is to release her new Burmese album in Burma on 3 March 2013.
The 28-year-old singer and songwriter will perform at Waizayantar Shopping Centre in Rangoon as part of her new CD album promotion between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday.
Van Dawt Cin said in an interview that she wrote three of the twelve songs in her album, which is available in VDC featuring Burma’s model-cum-singer Kyaw Thiha.
Posting on an internet, she said she would like to share her new promotional video clip on Youtube, adding: “Your help is deeply taken to my heart with a sincere appreciation.”
Any CD buyers will get a ticket with each purchase for a lucky draw whose prizes include a washing machine, refrigerator, mobile handset and LCD, according to sources.
Ms Van Dawt Cin became well-known after winning the second prize of a nationwide singing competition ‘Melody World’ in 2009.
At the invitation of Chin communities, she has made a trip to countries including Malaysia, Australia and India to entertain in a series of concerts.
Originally from Thau village, Chin State, Van Dawt Cin has appeared in several Chin VCD and DVD productions.
