Chin Champion League Semi-Finals in Rangoon

01 October 2011: The semi-finals of the 6th Chin Champion League 2011 are scheduled to see Charity FC playing against IMCP (International Mission Church Planting) and MUST vs Vapual FC at Mingalardone Military Football Ground in Rangoon next week.

This year’s Chin Champion League (CCL) started on 24 September with a total of eight Chin teams such as Charity FC, MUST FC, Disciple FC, Dagon Falam FC, IMPC FC, Dai United FC, Lautu United, and Vapual FC.

One of the leaders from Falam Community in Rangoon said: “The Chin Champion League is organised with aims not to make ourselves known but to protect and strengthen our oneness through friendly football matches. And we would like to help the young generation, who are interested in football, improve their skills.”

Founded in 2004 by the Falam family in Rangoon, the Chin Champion League, with its motto reading ‘We are one in Chin’, has organised a series of friendly football matches among Chin football teams mainly based in former capital of Burma.
