11 June 2026 – The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) carried out multiple airstrikes in Mindat township, Chin State yesterday.

Local sources reported that two Myanmar military jet fighters from Tada-U Air Base conducted a series of airstrikes on a location in the eastern part of Mindat township during the morning at around 8:00 am, 8:04 am, 8:08 am, and 8:13 am, dropping a total of eight bombs on the target area.

Later in the afternoon, at approximately 2:36 pm and 2:42 pm, two jet fighters from Aela Air Base in Naypyidaw launched additional airstrikes on a location in Mindat town. 

The aircraft conducted two bombing runs and dropped a further four bombs before leaving the area.

In total, local sources reported six airstrikes and the deployment of twelve bombs in Mindat township throughout the day.

At the time of reporting, no information regarding casualties or damage had been confirmed.

Local residents were urged to remain vigilant and take necessary safety precautions amid the continued threat of aerial attacks. – Reporting by Ben
