24 May 2026 – The Senthang Revolution Force (SRF) has declared a state of emergency across the Senthang region of Chin State.
This declaration comes as the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) junta intensifies its military operations, launching multi-front offensives that have already impacted several key areas in Chin State.
The escalating conflict has led to widespread displacement and destruction, with SSPC forces increasingly relying on indiscriminate air and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure. In response to these persistent threats and the risk of military infiltration, the SRF is significantly tightening security at checkpoints throughout the Senthang area.
Under the new security measures, individuals traveling through territories controlled by the Senthang Central Council must present official recommendation or endorsement letters from recognized revolutionary organizations.
The SRF has urged civilians to take immediate precautions, including preparing bomb shelters and stockpiling essential food and medical supplies.
