10 December 2025 – Chinland defence forces clashed fiercely with a State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) military column near Sumhrang village in Falam township, Chin State, yesterday.

The SSPC column was advancing from Webula town toward Falam town when the fighting erupted.

During the engagement, three SSPC soldiers were killed and fewer than ten were reported wounded. The battle is ongoing as the military column attempts to reach Falam town

Following the retreat of the SSPC soldiers, Chinland defence forces conducted a clearance operation, seizing three firearms—two MA-1 rifles and one MA-3 rifle—along with various rounds of ammunition.

Reports also indicate that the SSPC military carried out multiple bombing attacks on Falam township yesterday using a Y12 aircraft, resulting in damage to several homes in the villages. Reporting by Daniel
