Myanmar junta airstrikes hit villages in Hakha township

1 December 2025 – The Myanmar military conducted aerial bombardments in Ruan and Cinkhua villages, Hakha township, at approximately midnight on Saturday.

The airstrikes reportedly hit the old village of Ruan and the outskirts of Cinkhua, causing damage to civilian houses, according to local sources.

The Myanmar military conducted at least four airstrikes in Ruan, confirming damage to a minimum of four civilian residences. 

As a result, villagers have fled the area and are seeking shelter, fearing further attacks by the junta’s forces.

On 14 November, Myanmar military junta launched airstrikes in Ruan village, Hakha township at about 10 pm, dropping at least four bombs. One civilian house was damaged and no casualties were reported.

The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) has intensified its attacks in Chin State in recent months, utilizing both ground and aerial bombardments. 

Ground attacks, involving increased troop deployments, have primarily been concentrated in the northern parts of Chin State, particularly in Tedim and Falam townships.#
