Village admin crashed to death by car in Falam township

08 July 2015 — A vehicle plying regularly between Falam town, Chin State and Kalay town, Sagaing Region knocked Siah Khur dead in Zonglei village near Valung in Falam Township on 4 July.

Khur, a 54-year-old village administrator of Hmunli, died in the accident while he was travelling on his motorbike toward Kalay.

His body was taken to the Falam General Hospital in the evening for a post-mortem.

The vehicle’s driver is said to have run away following the accident and has not been found since.#
