30 April 2026 — The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) carried out separate airstrikes in the southern parts of Gangaw and Htilin townships in Magway Region on the morning of 30 April.

Initial reports from local source Yaw Alinn Tan indicate that at around 10:00 am, a jet fighter struck a location in southern Gangaw township. The extent of casualties and damage has not yet been independently confirmed.

At approximately the same time, two jet fighters reportedly launched another airstrike in southern Htilin township. Details on the impact and possible casualties remain unclear, and further verification is ongoing.

Community leaders have urged residents to remain on high alert, warning that airstrikes are being carried out more frequently and often with coordinated aerial support. Civilians are advised to take extra precautions and stay vigilant against potential air attacks. – Reporting by Ben
