NLD plans to open free clinic in Hakha

25 January 2014: The National League for Democracy (NLD) is looking to run a clinic that will provide medical services free of charge in Hakha, Chin State.

A group of the NLD Central Committee from Rangoon will arrive in the Chin capital to find ways in which the free clinic can be established in the near future.

One of the NLD leaders in Hakha told the Chinland Post that they were interested in renting a building owned by the Hakha Baptist Association (HBA).

The project is an immediate implementation of the promise given by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi during her recent visit to Hakha earlier this month.#
