Condolences To Chin College Student Allegedly Stabbed By SPDC
The Chin people across the world expressed their condolences over the death of a Chin student, Salai Mang Bu Kee, who was stabbed to death in Myingyan town, Burma last week.
Salai Mang Bu Kee, a second year student of zoology at Myingyan College, was knifed to death in the morning while attending the pagodas festival.
“We send our deepest condolences to the parents and relatives of Salai Mang Bu Kee. It is a great loss not only to the parents but to the people of Kanpalet Township and the Chin people as a whole,” said Pu Lian Uk MP.
SPDC’s non-uniformed thugs have been reportedly accused of being responsible for the death of a 19-year-old from Kanpalet township of Southern Chin State, Burma.
My nephew was killed on 10 September 2008 by SPDC’s civilian arms force. No medical certificate has been issued by doctors and Police Captain of Myingyan Township as they were given big amount of money from USDA, said the victim’s uncle, Rev. Hung Om.
Rev. Hung Om, aka Shwe Kyi, accused the ruling military authority of killing innocent students, educated persons and especially those willing to serve for the people.
Families and friends as well as some students paid tribute at his funeral service held in Myingyan on 12 September 2008.
