Motorbike-hit Chin Woman Died in Tedim

07 October 2011: A 56-year-old woman, Pi Lun Za Mang, yesterday passed away at the Kalay Hospital after being hit on Monday by a motorbike in Tedim Town, Chin State.

A local from Tedim told Chinland Guardian that the victim drew her last breath at the hospital where she was receiving an emergency treatment in Kalaymyo, about 56 miles away from the Chin town.

Pi Lun Za Mang was immediately taken to Kalaymyo as being referred to by a doctor in Tedim soon after being hit on the main road by a motorbike driven by a 25-year-old man, Mr. Cil Tual.

Mr. Cil Tual is still in police custody since the incident happened last Monday.

It is reported that she was severely injured with her spinal cord broken.

A funeral service is scheduled to take place in Tedim Town tomorrow.
