Singer Sangpi Joined Burmese Christian Crusade in Denmark
25 April 2011: Well-known Chin gospel singer Sangpi took part in a Burmese Christian gathering, leading praise and worship songs during the 4-day crusade held in Lohals City, Denmark last week.
The crusade, organised by Burmese Christian Fellowship in Denmark from 21-24 April, had a congregation of more than 300 during the Easter holidays, with key speaker from Canada, Rev. David Hla, of Karen ethnicity.
One of the Chin participants, Lai Kam Lian, told Chinland Guardian: “It was such an amazing event for spiritual encouragement. We had touching testimonies shared by Burmese brothers and sisters, newly converted from Buddhism.”
“Of course, we all enjoyed singing praise and worship songs, and the sermons. I believe this crusade would spiritually encourage especially our new Burmese brothers and sisters in Christ in Denmark.”
In February this year, Sangpi was invited as one of the singers during the Chin National Day celebration held in Germany and Norway.
