Thai Princess on 3-Day Burma Visit

16 March 2009: Thai princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who is on a three-day visit to Burma was received in Naypyidaw yesterday by Senior General Than Shwe and his top deputies, according to state media reports.

During the visit, the Princess and her entourage will observe Cyclone Nirgis Recovery Projects supported by the Thai Royal Family in the Irrawaddy delta, as well as, inaugurate the new blood bank facility at the Rangoon General Hospital.
