2 July 2026 – The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) military has launched a month-long training program for 50 of its appointed ward and village administrators in Tedim township, Chin State.
The “Capacity Enhancement Training Course (1/2026),” which began on 1 July 2026, is designed to strengthen local governance and administrative functions.
During the opening ceremony at the Township General Administration Department, District Administrator Zaw Naing Oo delivered opening remarks, while Township Administrator Phyo Win Than outlined the training’s objectives.
Over the four-week course, participants will receive subject-specific instruction to help them better implement the commission’s administrative procedures at the local level.
Similarly, the four-week long training has been launched in Hakha town. – Reporting by Daniel
