26 February 2026 — The Interim Mindat Township People’s Administration Team has issued a local order urging residents living in Mindat town to cooperate in fire prevention and environmental cleanliness efforts during the summer season today.
According to the official announcement of the Interim Mindat Township People’s Administration Team, the residents are requested to help prevent fire hazards by maintaining clean surroundings, removing flammable materials, and ensuring proper sanitation in their residential areas.
The order also emphasized the importance of collective community participation in keeping the town clean, safe, and visually well-maintained.
The local administrative body stated that the measure aimed to reduce the risk of fires during the hot and dry summer period, when fire incidents were more likely to occur. Residents were encouraged to work together to protect their homes, neighborhoods, and public spaces.
