Two new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Hakha

13 October 2020 – The Hakha General Hospital posted on its Facebook page today, saying that two males who have been quarantined since their return to Hakha from Yangon tested positive for COVID-19.

It also said that they had been kept in quarantine at the Na-Ta-La school in Hakha since they had come back from Insein, Yangon.

The Chin State Health Department said that they hadn’t received details of the results and their conditions although it was confirmed that the two had tested positive.

With the new cases today, there are three COVID-19 patients being isolated in Hakha, the capital of Chin State.

Meanwhile, 15 of the 16 COVID-19 patients who tested positive last month were discharged from their isolation after their test results had shown negative with no signs of COVID-19 symptoms. – Reporting by Thawng Zel Thang
