15 patients of COVID-19 in Mindat discharged from isolation

13 October 2020 – 15 out of 16 COVID-19 patients who tested positive late last month were discharged from their isolation in Mindat town, Chin State yesterday.

They were released in the evening after their swab test results had shown negative with no signs and symptoms of COVID-19, according to the Information and Public Relations of Department in Mindat.

However, they would still be home-quarantined for the next seven days.

12 of them are from Mindat town and the other three are from Hilawng village, Mindat Township.

Currently, there are two female COVID-19 patients being isolated in Mindat, with an elderly woman who was locally infected, and another being one of the 16 patients who still tests positive. – Reporting by Cer Len Ci and Naomy VT Chin
