Photos of Demonstration by Chin Refugees in Delhi
21 June 2011: More than 3,000 Chin refugees protested in Delhi yesterday to mark the 60th anniversary of World Refugee Day, calling on the UNCHR, Indian government and civil society for legal protection and services.
About an estimated 12,000 Chin refugees are currently stranded in New Delhi alone after fleeing their native places in Chin State, Burma from the brutalities inflicted upon them by the military authorities of Burma.
