17 February 2026 – The Myanmar military junta is quick to lecture Timor-Leste and other neighbors about “non-interference” and “respecting the ASEAN Charter.” Meanwhile, they are literally sitting on the ASEAN symbol, flushing the 5-Point Consensus away, and tearing up the very principles they claim to defend.
You can’t demand respect for a Charter you’ve turned into scrap paper. Stop pointing fingers at TL and start looking in the mirror.#
