9 June 2026 – The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) carried out multiple airstrikes in Mindat township, Chin State, today.

Local sources reported that two Myanmar military jet fighters from Tada-U Air Base conducted a series of airstrikes on Mindat township during the morning. 

The aircraft carried out four bombing runs at approximately 9:14 am, 9:20 am, 9:29 am, and 9:36 am, dropping a total of eight bombs on the target area.

Later in the afternoon, at approximately 3:00 pm and 3:04 pm, the same location was targeted again. Two jet fighters conducted an additional two bombing runs, dropping four more bombs before leaving the area.

In total, local sources reported six airstrikes and the deployment of twelve bombs in the eastern part of Mindat’s township throughout the day.

At the time of reporting, no information regarding casualties or damage had been confirmed. 

Local residents were urged to remain vigilant and take necessary safety precautions amid ongoing threats of aerial attacks. – Reporting by Ben
