Church building, pastor’s house burnt in Tonzang tsp

4 February 2021 – A fire started around 1am at night in Zampi village, Tonzang Township, completely destroying a Christian pastor’s house and a nearby church building.

The Information and Public Relations Department in Falam said that the wooden house of Pastor Go Za Mang and the wooden building of the Seventh-day Adventist church were burnt to the ground although villagers had managed to put out the blaze in about 20 minutes.

Information about how the fire started remains unknown. No injuries and casualties were reported.#
